Straw purchases are a big no, no if you are an FFL. I am sure some FFL's will make a sale to whoever they can, just to make a sale, but that is something that will get them in big trouble and they will lose their license. Most FFL's are like myself go by the book, they do not want to loose their license. There will always be some one in every type of business, that does not play by the rules and they make it look bad for those of use that do, then people make the generalization that we all do not play by the rules. It's like gun dealers that advertize below MAP, which is a big no, no. They make a lot of sales until the manufactures that set MAP become awair of them and stop selling to them. Sometimes it is not a level playing field until they get caught.
