Hello all,

I am a self-professed "Glock-Guy", and have decided that I need to run an H&K. I have absolutely no experience with this platform, but I have narrowed my choices down to a Stainless Full-Size USP .45, and the Full-Size HK 45. Any input from users would be appriciated.

Thanks!

Hey that is pretty cool man. I have to say I was completely taken by the "bling-bling" SS USP, but after reading that Larry Vickers & Ken Hackathorn basically designed the HK 45 I started re-thinking it.

I am also a Glock Guy but on that same note very much an HK guy. I am a USP owner and HK45 drooler. They are both awesome guns. The USP has higher magazine capacity (12 to 10), but the HK45's feel is superior. I know you can shoot a USP at H&H, but not the HK45. I think you should get both.

The only thing your going to get over the USP in the HK45 is superior ergonomics, personally I love the HK45 and the USP Compact .45 SS is on my short list.

The USP .45 is actually what I used to learn to shoot with. Reliable, fun to shoot, built like a tank, and accurate. A Glock fan will not be disappointed.

I've never shot an HK45, but I would imagine it's everything the USP .45 but way more comfortable.

I've been shooting the USP 9 in matches for years. I've shot a USP Compact 9 in a few TSA matches. These guns always run great. I bought a USP .45 Compact and converted it to a CT to use my Blackside can on. It's shorter than a oem CT.
