The episode where they built the '73 Winchester for the little Cowboy Action Shooter (Rattlesnake Wrangler) was discussed a bunch on the SASS Wire forum. According to Colt Faro, the boy's father, the folks are absolutely nothing like shown on TV. They are all down to earth fellers, just made to look like idiots for drama. BTW, the producers paid for the '73. Colt Faro was not out 10,000.
BTW Rattlesnake, at the ripe old age of 13, just finished 33rd overall at End of Trail. The kid is amazing to watch.
