Will they negotiate prices or are they set in stone? I have been eyeing a rifle that has been sitting in their store for at least 8 months, I would like to offer them cash for it.

Any info is appreciated.

Guns don't go stale. Go and make an offer...the worse they can do is laugh.

(they are a bit proud of the stock... but after you figure shipping and a FFL transfer...some of the prices are not too bad)

Or after you figure they are an Oklahoma owned and operated business that contributes to the tax base as well as providing employment for Oklahomans, saving $20 might not be as important as you originally thought. Just a consideration.

I agree most of the time Mitch...but when it comes to a $100 spot on a $500 gun that can be hard to swallow.

I was thinking the same thing. I would pay $20 more. I like H&H and I like the food, but some of the guns are way over priced. I priced a pistol out the door at OAS and it was still more then $20 cheaper then the shelf price at H&H. I am not saying that everything is that over priced, but some are. It might be cheaper to go pay the asking price somewhere else, even if you did get them to come down some.

Go to OAS and look at a P239 and then go to H&H. It was more then a $100 difference and I bought it from OAS. Bought a Springfield Milspec from OAS and the exact same model (apples to apples) was right at $80 more. You don't have to believe me, I know what I saw and where I bought from on these two purchases. I do support H&H too. Bought an M&P9c a few weeks ago from them.

The only time I was there, they had a Gen 4 G19 I wanted. I knew it should be about $530. But they wanted $579 for it. I asked if there was any room on it and was very politely told "no". Bought it two days later at Dong's for $529. Nice store though.
