Back in the 80's they made a mag and adapter like the guy is describing.
I think Tapco was actually the one that made them.
If you buy one of those adapters contact me before you cut the mags. I've got 3 or 4 of the original poly mags you could test to see if they work with that adapter and minimal fitting. I have no adapter for them.

Check with "Survivors SKS Forum". One of the wheels on there makes that adaptor. It's a new product.
