This list is interesting and I post it because I know some Nissan vehicles are rebaged to a Ford or other make.
Pontiac to Toyota and Toyota to Chevy and many others have gone on for decades.
Fun list to look at.

And the last remake of the Chevy Nova I did not know was a Corolla.
Boy that one went well HA!

Yep, and some of the rebadged cars can be had for way less than the original

08-12 Nissans have a known problem with the CVT. If it's been properly maintained (transmission oil changed) there is a smaller chance you will have a problem.
Most of them have never had the transmission oil changed ever, much less every 75k or so that is specified.
That's why that year range is so cheap.

I have a 2015 with 85k miles. The '14 and later won't have as much of a problem, but I changed the trans oil at 75 - it needed the change.

Is it only the push button starts that have the CVT transmission that is known to fail? My daughter had a key start altima that was a decent little car. It did go through speed sensors though. I did hers at least twice, maybe 3 times.
It is the 2007-12 Altima and Rogue mainly. Maxima, Murano, and Quests had valve body issues in the prior years(04-07ish). Most of the 2008+ come with push start. I don't recommend Nissans to friends when there are better options out there like Honda, Toyota, and Subaru.
