Help on Grips

Ok, going a little further planning this custom 1911.

I've pretty much decided on the color: two tone Cerakote, Graphite Black over Titanium Blue. Like this, except 5" and no bobtail.

What I can't decide on is grips at this point. Someday I'll want to put the Carbon Creations grips on it, but for now I'm trying to keep it under $50.

Are they that good? I've never actually shot a gun with them on it.

And anyone can feel free to make other suggestions, I just picked three that were across the range prices, and looked cool.

Alumagrips!!!! I'd get the hogue ones though.

I gotta say, I prefer the Alumagrip checkering outline to the double diamond of the Hogue.

The 2nd one reminds me of a few pieces of Olive wood I had a while back.
