Guys am going on a Buffalo hunt(SHOOT) next week. What I need is some place to have the hide tanned. Please any and all input would be helpful.
Most any of the local taxidermist will know where to get one tanned. The ranch operater where your going may know as well.
You can also google your question, and maybe eliminate the middle man by locating a tannery yourself, and dealing directly with them. My understanding is that there are not many tanneries left in the US.

Negative. Not there anymore, unless they just re-opened under new management.

I went on a buffalo hunt a few years ago near Ford, Kansas..Had a wonderful time..The owner took all our buffalo hides somewhere in Missouri..It took a full year to get it back but it was well worth it..Probably about the softest hide I have ever felt..We kept it for maybe 5 years in our home and I finally sold it for more than half of what my hunt cost...You'll have a good time..

Dennis - If I had known you wanted to drive up and pop a bull or cow buff I could have hooked you up. A buddy kept asking me to get him some one to take several buff off his land.
