Race war? Not likely in this country; European Americans are diluting out minorities by marrying into them. Many, many successful African American men choose European American women as their mates, as many European American men choose Latin American and Asian American women. I had a job in produce a few years ago at a Super Walmart, and I got a chance to meet a lot of really nice people, but sadly, African American women were for the most part unescorted by a member of the opposite gender, and I really felt badly for them.

And that's bout what it stays at, 12%. The high death rate among males related to blood pressure, other health issues and violence is not the whole picture. They are also marrying out of their ethnicity in larger numbers - especially in the upwardly mobile segements of their population. The tsunami of immigration from south of the border has supplanted African Americans into the nation's second largest minority status - and in a nation where being a minority is so important - it's not good to be the number 2 minority.
It'll never even out, too many play the race card when nothing else is left. The Zimmerman case was a perfect example & so is the disgraceful events unfolding after the verdict.
Other way around, actually. Once whites have bred with another race, the "white" is pretty much gone; most mixed-race people identify with the non-white race of their makeup. I've never known one mixed-race person refer to themselves as "white", whether a man on the street, a politician, or celebrity. And the more whites that do this, the fewer whites there are. That and responsible reproduction have the white race shrinking, and with immigration, the non-white population rapidly gaining in numbers.
I've never quite understood where the finish line is here, but this statement is always popular. At what point is the playing field "even"?
When my generation is dead. I'd say at least another three decades. I'm an optimist.
