Been here a few years and work at the old Walmart. Don't know any gun people here and am new to it myself so thought I'd say hi and join up.

Just a question. Anyone know how long carry permits take to come in? It's been 54 days for me so far.

Welcome aboard! New or renewal? My renewal took 73 days from the day I mailed it. New is probably gonna' take longer ... at least it used to.

If not, consider joining the Stillwater Rifle & Pistol Club.

It maintains a nice members only range about 20-25 minutes east of town.

I normally go to Camo Corner but want to join the SRPC sometime in June. Normally go every Tuesday or Wednesday since they're my weekends but only went once this month. Saving up to buy a PX4 storm, so weekly visits is something I cut out of the budget this month lol. Might consider trading or selling my Shield since I'm not liking it as much as I thought. Hard for me to draw with so might go up to the compact size.
