Hi-Standard .22 short

I had the pleasure of shooting this gentleman's well-cared for Hi-Standard .22 short pistol today at H&H. He said it was from the 1960's. I have never felt such a SMOOTH trigger on a handgun...ever. It was a nice pistol; wish I could find one of these jewels. Whover you were, thank you for letting me shoot that little gem.

They were sweet guns designed for the international pistol rapid fire matches. S&W also offered a 22 short conversion kit for the S&W Model 41. Both the High Std & S&W41 in 22 Short were designed as more reasonable priced alternatives to the Walther OSP or older Walther Olympia.
