Nice 1966-68 High Standard Supermatic Citation Military model 106 for sale. Will consider reasonable offers but am pretty close on price. Very cool piece.
I apologize for misdating the handgun. Thank you for pointing that out. I am here to learn as I liquidate a few of my late fathers collection.

It looks good but where did you come up with the 1945 date?

I’m no expert but based on the series it was built in 1966-68.

I will see if I can find the serial number reference page I came across trying to learn the date myself. It's very possible I made a mistake. I'll post again an a bit

As long as I read the serial number correctly and this chart applies to the citation I should be correct. I don't have the gun with me at the moment to check.

All of my references say that the 106 series were first made in 1965.

You are a digit short on your serial number. Your gun has a seven digit serial number and the guns made in ‘45 had six digit serials.
