I love how all of those old photos look. That is something that is pretty much lost to technology. The women all look pretty fantastic, too. Classy.

4x5 Kodachromes. Beautiful. These were probably done on either a Graflex or Linhof camera. Each shot would have required a separate sheet of film housed in a film holder that was inserted into the back of the camera plus a flash bulb for the many of them. Also, the photographer would have had a hand held light meter that he would have used to take light readings around the subject. Each shot may have required 30-60 minutes or even more set up time. Point is, making photos like these back then required a lot of work. No such thing as point and shoot with a 4x5 camera.
