Hey all, I recently picked up a Grade B P7 PSP. Absolutely love it , i'm now a member of the Cult. Anyhow, the gas piston has quite a bit of play (up & down, a little side to side) Is this normal ? Any cleaning tips would help as well.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

I used to have a P7. Great gun but I couldn't shoot it very well so I sold it. Been a few years but my gun had zero play. If you like it and it shoots well, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

On a quick tangent, the NRA publications this month have a short blip about the handguns of the original Die Hard movie, and explained that both McClane's (Bruce Willis's) Beretta 92, and Gruber's HKP7, had installed on them *internally*-threaded barrels, to which were attached small regulators for making them cycle with blanks - these two pieces are in NRA firearm museum.
