I believe that their handgun ammo is loaded with their XTP HP bullets. They used to load them with those unless they've changed. Don't know about the rifle calibers.
So TAP is the same as VMAX?
The TAP bullet in 223 is the vmax. The 55 grain is loaded to approx 3200 fps.

The 55 might be a VMAX (which makes me cringe) but the 75 is a HPBT. The actual bullet also varies between the 5.56 75 gr and the .223 75 gr. Several of the .308 loads use the AMAX.
moral of the story, is that if you want magical TAP ammo, buy the loaded ammo, dont try to reload it.
I've never used it nor do I think I have a need for it but a buddy and I were disscussing it and we were just curious if you could load it yourself. What's so magical about it anyway?
The T2 bullet for the 5.56 75 gr TAP is actually a super-miniaturized MIRV. It's kind of like a nuclear butterfly net...you need to make sure the handle's long enough.
