Naw; mine is a large rectangle shaped tub, made out of heavy redwood boards with an acrylic shell inside. It weighs something like 900 pounds dry. I HAVE seen the above Japanese wood soaking tubs now that you posted a pic of it, I can't remember where, (maybe in Japan? ) but mine is the kind that has a bunch of jets that blast that high pressure out on your body.

LMAO, Hey, you didnt mention the kids, but did mention squeeeeezing 10-20 people in a 10 person hot tub. That dont sound like a regular new years eve party to me sooooo...

HAHA! I left it as an unanswered question to see who it would draw out! :D
10 person hot tub is like a small swimming pool.

I had to cut one apart in Hawaii once It was a MAJOR PITA. Those wood soaker tubs are impossible to refurb once the wood dries out and warps.

I could really see some okie doing that. More likely with duct tape though

Yes. In Oklahoma duct tape and baling wire fixes anything.
I'm being entirely honest here......I keep a roll of tape and a partial roll of baling wire on my tractor. That combo has bailed me out of several predicaments.
