House Fire Last Night

Just got a call from my best friend's wife. His dad's house caught on fire last night! He left a turkey smoker unattended over night and about 2 am the house was in flames. The kitchen and living room were both completely destroyed. All presents and photo albums and all was completely lost. The good news is that everyone got out safely! Please pray for their family.

Is this the Colliers family? I know Michelle Haden-Collier. Went to school with her and saw she posted up a similar story today on FB.

Sure hope the Insurance helps them out ...... just some things cannot be replaced. My 'best' goes out to them ..... Heck of a time for it to happen.

Small world then, Michelle and I went to highschool and graduated together. I have known her and her family for many years. Bad deal all around with the time of year, I am just happy everyone made it out. The personal effects can be replaced, the people are safe and that is what matters most.
