I can confirm this with the diesel model for sure. Was down in Alabama near the coast picking up a concrete pump for someone I knew using his truck. Was going to go over to the beach and couldn't find a decent place to park with a truck and trailer behind it. Saw an area where a house had been and it looked like grass most of the way. wasn't in four wheel drive and started slipping. . . with a multi ton dual torsion axle diesel engine concrete pump hooked to the truck. Dropped the trailer and started jacking and digging. Never did make it to the beach but saw a lot of sand that day.
Diesels suck in real mud and sand...

That doesn't happen in an FJ60 with a driver that knows what he's doing. Lol.
That isn't stuck too bad. High centering in powder sand is easy to pull out. 40" deep in quick sand creates suction it is stuck. I have seen jeeps half way up the doors stuck in quick sand the last 3 weeks.
Jack up the radiator cap on the ford and drive a Toyota 4runner under it. Problem solved
