I prefer wood stocks and blue steel. Partly for looks but mostly because that is what I grew up with and I am comfortable with it. Not I have had a few plastic guns that I liked including a Hi-Point carbine and an HK 93.. My old boss had a G-3 that I loved too.

Personally, I consider the U22 NEOS to be a beautifully sleek handgun.

I'm not a hunter or a rabid self-defense advocate,,,
I buy guns that satisfy my desire for precision,,,
But only if they please me aesthetically.

A fiery-arm doesn't need to be beautiful to please me,,,
But it sure needs to "not" make me wince when I see it on a rack.

That said I have guns ranging from lovely CZ's and Beretta Cheetah series pistols,,,
To an absolutely butt-ugly Hi-Point carbine that's a great shooter.

Having said that,,,
If I have a beautiful fiery-arm that's not a precise shooter I get rid of it.

they matter to an extent to me. I like the classic lines of older rifles. However, I also own an AI rifle because there is no doubt they are well built and just shoot well also. I'm not a fan of chassis rifles for two reasons though. Looks and weight. My guns are like my women. Neither will be ugly or heavy.
