I'm pretty sure it's from a deer. I see that stuff in my back yard all the time where the deer hang out...

I kinda hate that I am somewhat of an expert in this area.....but hey,
we all have to be good at something. At any rate, that is the poo
of a small ruminant. Deer, goat, sheep etc. Based on the fact it is
in the woods, on a deer trail.....I'm gonna go with deer.
BTW, to help with any further questions on identification of other
fecal finds, it would help if there were reference materials pictured
beside the questionable objects to offer scale to the photo. Size does matter after all and it helps to have a comparison to work off of, if for nothing more than bragging rights. A wad of toilet paper is unacceptable
as there is no standard size for "a wad". Same for a shirt sleeve.
