I have a brother-in-law up in the Panhandle that goes around looking for old implements and attending farm auctions and such to pick up lots of metal. He cuts it all up and hauls it 125 miles to Amarillo, TX to sell. He was telling me about a month ago that unless he can get a really heavy trailer load of metal, it almost isn't worth driving to sell it. And, I'm talking about a heavy gooseneck trailer that may be roughly 30 to 35 feet long.
