If money was no issue where would you retire to?

Went to Lisbon and Porto last fall and loved it! Wish we had the time to see the coast but maybe on our next trip.

My wife and I would move to Maine on the coast north of Portland.

Some places it never gets too cold. The heat I can handle -- especially if money is no object and I can have a pool. I don't mind going out in the heat. Going out in the cold is a whole nuther beast altogether.

This is me. I would have said Alaska when I was younger. I'd only visit now. Regardless of money, as much as I like it out west, I'll probably end up right by or on a lake in NE Oklahoma, SW Missouri or NW Arkansas.

My father in law’s job sent them to Portland Maine for a couple years in the mid 90’s, and they liked it but were ready to come back to TX when the time came.

Can I come?? (And NO!! I'm NOT cooking breakfast.) Not that I don't like breakfast but I'm in the habit of fasting until 1pm and stopping at 5pm now so I'm not cooking unless you're eating when I'm eating.
