Nope, I didn't have another kid but...
My 16-year old son was on the news (SWOK News 7) because he was interviewed today after winning the local VFW Voice of Democracy award.
The kid looked good and was way more articulate than I was at his age!
He also had some nice praise heaped on him by my boss Major General Halverson and Lawton's mayor. I was so proud I even sprang for ice-cream (hey being proud doesn't mean I suddenly ceased being cheap!)
Since, I am singing his praises I might as well add that he also won a full-scholarship to college and will be heading off to join his sister and brother at school together this fall.
