Insecticide for farm house.

It's a farm house that was severely neglected and had bugs galore. Mice, too.

I've got a company sprays inside and out once a month. I only go down there once a week and am renovating the house to use on the weekends.

They've done a good job, and I think I can take care of it myself at this point. What do you recommend for me to do the job myself?

I go around the foundation and about 6’ out with Malathion once a month, keeps the bug population down for me.
I just use a plain 2 gallon hand pump sprayer.
I “may” mix it a bit hotter than the directions but that’s a maff error on my part I am sure

I keep Liquitox liquid mouse/rat bait out in my barn when I’m not here, and it seems to do a pretty good job, but be sure to take it up when you’re there if you have dogs. I used to put out bar bait, but I got scared my dogs would find it.

Permethrin outside. Susped SC inside. I get the permethrin @Tractor Supply and Amazon for Suspend SC.

For mice, Atwood barn bait

Put in back of cabinets and out of the way places. Wipes them out quick.

Just once a year inside, really should be done after every rain or two months outside. It never rains here so it's no big deal lol. It won't help your rodent problems though.

For bugs, I use Talstar around the house. You can get the Atwood’s brand, with the same active ingredient, biferthrin. It works really well for us. I spray every couple of months.

For most bugs these two do an amazing job in and around my house. Also very easy to apply.
Demand CS in 2 gallon pump sprayer around outside of house, walls and grass (once every 3 months).
Delta Dust sprayed in all cracks inside and out (once every 3 months).
