This I must say: It's not gun violence. It's just violence. Though a lot of it is committed with guns, it isn't a matter that is curable by gun control. It is a matter of violent people. Most of the victims have been disarmed by violations of the Second Amendment which leaves them vulnerable. Allowing people to freely arm themselves will result in the violence diminishing due to the attrition of the deaths of those who pick on the armed. Sure, there may be a rise in shootings but it won't last long once the violent people are dealt a taste of their own medicine.
