Freedom of speech is always worth the risk of upsetting someone. If we as a people are so worried about upsetting someone that we are willing to diminish our rights, then we shouldn't have rebelled against the british in the first place.

We can't please everyone, and the Bill of Rights does not say we have a right to not be offended. So I don't worry about it.

If you're speaking the truth, and someone takes offense, that's just too bad for them. Deliberately lying to harm another is another matter.
