is there a good 7.62X39 or 5.4 upper

I have been looking into cheaper ammo and I have been reading about some other uppers for MY AR. some people have said there is not going to be any that are reliable. is this true? or was I reading old threads, I didn't think to look at the dates when I was googling. anyone have any recommendations? do any of them use Standard AR mags?

I've tried a Model One Sales 20" upper in 7.62x39, with Monarch steel-cased ammo and a C-Products 10-round 7.62x39 AR magazine. No issues at all with the 250 or so rounds I fired through a S&W M&P-15 lower. With a scope and front rest, it's pretty accurate at 200 yards, and not too shabby at 300. Not sub-MOA, but still pretty fun for dinging iron silhouettes.
