Actually, I have been there and I do agree that the facilities are top notch. As for the staff, my opinion is dwindling with each post, but I do understand defending your side of an argument. As for the personal call out, pretty un-professional. It's nice to know how easy it is to get under your skin, Steve. I'll be sure to introduce myself next time I am up there. P.S. I'll be the 6'5" bald guy with 15 yrs LE experience, most of which a member of one emer. Response team or another. THERE... Now you have MY resume. I guess we can save the weenie measuring for our meet and greet. Back to the issue at hand... If something doesn't look Kosher, I am and will continue to speak my mind about it. I see you 2 hr. Min. Rule as acceptable, but that is not the way it was represented initially. It was represented as a 15 min. training for $125. That I do NOT see as acceptable. BTW, both of you are correct about it being a private entity and they can charge as they see fit. That doesn't mean I have to like it. Personally, i think if the intent is the ward away non-members from shooting FA weapons, then just don't allow it, period. It takes away all of the gray area and quells misunderstandings and misrepresentations by staff that may not be fully aware of the policies at that given time. Do either of you disagree with that? Steve, I know we have been bashing at each other, but if you seriously want the range to be the best it can be, and i believe you do, plus user friendly for all those who use it, dont you think it would behoove USSA, Steve, members, potential members, and guests to clarify such issues? I bet that if you guys take a hard look at you policies and procedures there are areas that could use clarification and/or updating. This true of most entities whether they be public or private. Maybe this verbal tennis match could be used as an example of how clarification could benefit all? That would help USSA, wouldn't it? After all, it seems such a waste of all this typing to just piss Steve off...
