Nice rifle. I’ve always wanted a Browning Hi-Wall or Low-Wall. I had a Ruger No.1 for a short time but didn’t care for the accuracy, have a Sharps 74 repo that I love but it be nice to have a single shot in a caliber that would be easy to walk around with. Congrats, get some ammo and go shoot some afternoon that doesn’t have winds above 10 mph gusts, and post some group pics.

Nice rifle, throw the scope on a gun show table, get real glass and your good to go!
The only reason I’m keeping it is they were bought on the same day at the same shop some decades ago. I had tools out getting ready for a swap like you mentioned but I felt like I was separating siblings and left it.

I only have a couple browning guns, one is a 80’s B80 it really nice finish and wood and the other is a new T-Bolt with Maple stock that shoot great and looks good.
