I'm getting kind of interested in these. Can any of you with experience with these weapons tell me that they are a big piece of crap and that I should under no circumstances purchase one? I'm thinking about a 9 MM one.

bad news.... they are pretty neat, and you need one...

you can get one from gunbroker for between $300 and $325 pretty easy.
Mine is a 40cal glock...

get one that takes the glock 18 mags and they are pretty awesome! but my hi-point 995 shoots better.

Buddy of mine has one in 9mm and it works fine. My hi-point is a great little carbine also but lacks the mag capacity of the kel.

I'm looking for a one as well glock 9mm version one thing they have in common with glock is they are ugly as hell and need upgraded ASAP

I bought one a few years ago. I absolutely love it. Especially with the 33rd glock mags.

Big Boys has one in 9mm, dont know if it takes the glock or beretta mags, cdnn also has them. I want to say you can swap the grip assembly and convert between which mag bodies it holds. Hicap mags can be had in the beretta as they did make a machine pistol variant. Dont know how much or how hard to find though.
