I like it. not sure if I like it enough to pay $800 though. says it will be the lightest "small frame" 6 shot .357 weighing in at 23oz. and its made from stainless steel.

A 6 shot .357 that is small and light enough for conceal carry would be pretty cool.

Nothing there that S&W or Ruger isn't covering. Now if they want to come out with a large frame 8 shot in .38 Super with at least a 5" barrel they'll definitely have my attention.

20% more ammo capacity is noteworthy, if it's anywhere close to j-frame in size.

Interesting comparison:

Yeah, it's not going to be an ideal pocket gun, so comparing it to ideal pocket guns isn't very useful to me. In any other mode of carry/use, it may be a decent option. Adding in the S&W 640, Ruger SP101, short-barrel k-frame, and Glock 19 for comparison would be good.

absolute lightest is a S&W 337PD at a crack under 10oz .. next would be S&W 342PD at 10.8oz
my 337PD is tucked away with 340PD as my daily CCW packing carefully selected lower recoil .357 mag SD rounds.

340PD with crimson trace grips loaded weight 14.1oz .. best weapon is the one on your person .. lighter/more compact means higher probability of weapon actually being on your person.

Kimber at 23oz unloaded would be just too heavy for CCW .. for me anyways.

340PD with crimson trace grips loaded weight 14.1oz .. scale has been checked for accuracy against calibration weights

that's 70.613mg on Torbal DRX-4 precision scales .. 5 rounds .357 self defense
