I’m a devoted S&W fan but I’m curious why is everyone talking up LCR? IMO they are overpriced an not that attractive. Tell me what you have experienced.

light, I like the feel and trigger. I actually like both the LCR and LCRX. I like hammer (LCRX) just because I hate the look of the thing w/o hammer and just like hammers and feel of it :-) But the LCR no doubt is better for pocket carry w/o the hammer

Dont like super light, get the .357- 3 ounces or so heavier, and in a pinch you can shoot magnums ( 110’s are actually tolerable).. and yes, decent trigger

I had the 38 special model shortly after it came out.
The recoil, with factory standard velocity loads, was uncomfortable. No fun at all. Sold it.
Don't know why folks say that the S&W J frame is a good backup.
