My M16A4gery:

Had this one a while, but need to take more recent pictures of it. It's since been painted with Krylon Khaki and flat brown BBQ paint (for the high-temp areas). Also changed out the A2 grip for an Ergo ambi, and removed the backup rear sight to move the ACOG further back.

Basic stats:
YHM stripped lower
LMT A2 stock set
G&R Tactical LPK (mostly LMT)
Geissele SSA trigger
BCM 20" gov't profile upper, BCM BCG, and GFH Mod.4 charging handle
KAC M5 RAS (with included 11-rib covers)
MagPul ladder covers and XTM panels
Trijicon TA31-RCOA4
MagPul PMags, Lancer L5s, and MagPul-enhanced USGI mags all run perfectly

Now I just need to shoot it more--only have 720 rounds through it.

I actually had this finished for a while now (several months) but haven't got around until not to posting it in the album... The only thing I'm missing is an EOTech... Once I have that it'll be complete, but I actually have a deal in the works for one now so we'll see...

I complimented it before the switch. I'm not reposting so as to reclaim the warm fuzzies of a compliment but rather to resend the advice I gave. take a look at the budget optics at primaryarms.com

How do you like that XS big dot? Seems like it'd be troublesome...

I LOVE IT!!! I've got a 50yd zero on it and if I put the Big Dot on it target I hit it... What more can you ask for?!? At longer ranges you just use the top of the Big Dot as you would a normal front sight post... It's essentially like a dot optic...
And I'm not overly concerned with shooting past 300yds these days so it suits the purpose of a HD/Trunk Gun perfectly...

I also use XS Big Dots on my EDC handguns (to date I've had them on a Glock 23, Glock 19, and now my M&P 9) and out to 25yds I have put it nearly in the middle of a 5" target... I've seen videos of people using them out to 100+ yds...

There's a learning curve at first, but once you're using them correctly they are golden...

I will get a pic up in the next day or two of my AR's, but for now a teaser of a build I am working on. I have a PWS Diablo upper to put on this guy once I get it back after it has been anodized.
