I kinda wanted gunmetal gray but the chromies came along for a good deal. Painted wheels look better longer between cleanings.

The timeline of wheels for me....The ones i had the longest (actually still have them all)

The highschool ride-1979 Chevy K20 4wd after paint and body work and new tires

The college ride- 1991 S-10....gave more for the canoe than the truck and was probably the most reliable truck i ever owned....was just kinda ugly....and yes the canoe was carried on it quite a bit.

The 'I've grown up and got a big kid job now' ride-2010 GMC 1500 4wd...by far the nicest thing i ever owned. Out of the 8 vehicles i have had this is the first with functioning AC and functioning cruise control
