Better late than never......Here's the original "Surgeon" rifle built around 2000. Rings and bases Tig welded to action. Bottom pic is action I got started and still haven't finished. Made two of them actually, Preston Pritchett got the other one.

Whats the background story, did you work with Preston on the original Surgeon action or what?

Here's my Badger M-2008/AICS finished up with a fresh coat of DuraCoat. Still doing working on barrel break in, but so far it's shooting real nice.

Not enough to matter. I trued everything up after welding, cut the rings, bolt lug recess, threads and face. It's all good.
BigJilm, that is a sweet rig! Was the AI already inletted for that Badger? Very nice SIR! How far you shooting that?
