I have been on the casual hunt for a Stevens 311 .410 SxS for over fifteen years. I've hunted gun shows and pawnshops for the right one at the right price. The search ended today and I wasn't even looking for one when I walked into the store. This thing is beautiful and the price was a little over half of the current market.

Now it can join its brothers in 12 and 20

Looks like a very nice one too!

Thanks! I'm still in shock on the condition of this gun. It must have been a safe queen for decades and the girl at the pawn shop had it priced way too cheap. The 410 is difficult to find and when one pops up the price is usually way too much to pay for what was a "working man's shotgun" of the 1950s.

But needless to say, I'm one happy camper!
