Pulled up to the tracks a few seconds to late,my God how long are these trains now days.I think the engine is here in Okmulgee while the rear is just leaving Tulsa.Started counting the cars,70,80,90 holy crap.

I thought I had seen long trains until my first trip through New Mexico and Arizona. Those trains snaking through the mountains must have had cars all the way back to Topeka.

Stop buying crap from China, and the trains get shorter. But then again, then the Interstates would get more crowded. Stupid consumer based economy.

I took this pic going through New Mexico. We had been following it for a long time. I wish I would have taken a pic from farther back. This was out the window at about 75.
