Use Aluminum Black on that area if you want it to blend.
I had my barrels engraved. Easy to read to buy hard to get a picture of but this mirrors my experience.
Can you give me some details on Aluminum Black? I would like to avoid spraying if possible, possibly with something I can rub into the etching. I have used China White pens in the past for the opposite effect.
That is exactly what Alumablack by Birchwood-Casey is. Use a q-tip.
Thanks, that is what I will do.
HTH and Gabe, thanks for the info. This has to be the best deal I have seen for engraving service.
This is what I had done to mine. Spent some bucks buy it will be in family forever and wanted it nice. Ident Marketing Services in Texas done it for me.
So im in the tulsa area as well. I can also NOT reccomend Juno. A.too damn high. B works not that great. I had an sbs 870 that I just needed something on just to be legal. Not impressed. Steve hazlewood at wilshire gun does walk in engraving for 35 $ will post pics of both
