Make it smoother? Of course not...that's one of the best improvements Smith made to the 2.0. The OG M&PS I have in the safe all have stippling to mimic the 2.0 texture....

In all my years I have never once thought "Man, I wish this gun was slipperier"

Smooth does not equal slippery.

Smooth equals smooth.

Slippery equals slippery.

These two things are not alike.

That is probably a more permanent solution, but I’m going to try the Talon first anyway, when I get it, which brings me to this; Talon’s customer service. 5 ⭐️! My grip shipped over 2 weeks ago via USPS with no tracking. It’s still not here. They’re sending me another one, with no hassle and it was their idea.

After they made the offer I countered with “if I wind up with both of them eventually, I’ll mail one of them back”.

Good guys. I haven’t laid hands on the grip, but based on CS alone I’d recommend them.
It’s installed. It is the granulate texture.

It’s still plenty rough, but I think it will wear better on my skin.

I like it, and again their customer service is 5 star.
