Man I miss Maker's Cigar Lounge

Just sitting here with a beer and a cigar again on a beautiful night listening to some good old jazz on pandora and it just hit me again! I miss Maker's Cigar Lounge! That was my happy place. Is there anywhere that even comes close in the okc area? I need a good cigar lounge tonight.

Not quite the same but ZTs on Britton has a members only area that is a very nice cigar lounge.

Yeah, I used to go to ZT's old location. I haven't been to the new one yet...it's awfully far up on the north side. I'll have to check it out later this week. I really miss the live music at Maker's and the environment the most.

Nope, it was closed down in November 2010 for tax evasion. They owed the state over $276k in back taxes!

Wow, that was one of the few places I enjoyed going to in Bricktown.

There is always the Tobacco Exchange on Eastern and Memorial or the one on 63rd and May. Its a BYOB establishment. The lounge is open to anyone.

Funny, a buddy and I were just talking about Makers....we didn't know it had closed...we were bummed.

ZT's does have a nice lil setup, its $30 a month if you want to get a membership and smoke in the back.

I was told that the lounge area at Tobacco exchange was by invite only....I figured it was for their "regulars"

The Cohiba Lounge in Norman isn't bad. It usually isn't too crowded and it's collocated with Royal Pipe and Tobacco. The prices are definitely better than Makers. It's a lot smaller place than Makers was and I kind of enjoy that.
