Bring back Ol' sparky, or firing squad.

It is one of the craziest custody disputes you could imagine. A city in Oklahoma wants the state to give it back "Old Sparky," an electric chair last used about 50 years ago. McAlester officials want to put it on display as a piece of history. But the state says it's keeping Old Sparky in storage, just in case the relic needs to be fired up again. "That would be possible," a state DOC spokesperson tells the McAlester News Capital. Old Sparky had its heyday from 1915 to 1966, when it was used to execute 82 inmates at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.
It now sits mothballed in a state facility, as the city and the DOC bicker over who owns it.

I've proposed this before on here and nobody listened. You should sting this guy (or gal) up by his or her heals and pour a molten metal down his/her fundament. Then you should make jewelry out of the metal and auction it off on the internet.
That would pay for the whole thing and these executed people wouldn't be livin out of damn check book. Who do they think they are?

I say just give a very high dose of morphine. Or a very high dose of propafol. It would be quick and there would be no worrying about if it’s gonna be humane or not. I say do it as quick as possible. Then they can meet their eternal punishment ( that is if they aren’t a Christian that has received forgiveness). I know some people deserve to get a terrible death. Nothing they can have done to them will compare to burning in hell for eternity.

Funny thing--he wasn't executed for the Sirloin Stockade murders; he was actually executed for a murder he committed alongside I-35. It was explained to me once by Andy Coats' administrative assistant, but I forget the details.

That would have been the Lorenz family. Stafford and his wife had broken down near Purcell on I-35 and they stopped to help.
