I have a couple of mags that work in both the mini-14 and the ar-15. They are narrow at the top front like a normal mini-14 mag, but have both the hole in the front of the mag to latch up the mini-14 magwell and a notch in the normal place for ar mags. I bought them at one of the gun shows a couple of years ago and so far they have worked well. I have only used them in the mini-14 as I have plenty of mags of the gi variety for the ar.. Blitzfike
