my gun was stolen, then used in a murder........Advice appreciated

If you had left your a gun out and a kid had got a hold of it, I could understand your angst, but in the scenario you described, you are being way, way too hard on yourself. Life is full of terrible people who do horrible things. You are not one of them, and you sure as Hell are not responsible for them.

i admit that i didn't read all the posts. the gun will be given the all-clear on the NCIS after you get it back. if i remember,you and i don't live to far apart. we were having many problems then also. i had a gun taken out of my truck with the garage door cracked for the cat (another lesson for all) musta been a skinny SOB! patrols have stepped up and no problems since.

i understand your feelings,because i went through the same thought process. although it never happened i still worry about it occasionally.
