My next gun...

Trying to decide what my next gun should be. Under $1k.

Currently I have:
Ruger SR1911 (love this thing...alot)
Springfield XD-M Compact 9mm
Kahr CM9 (what I usually carry)
Remington 870 with a short barrel and a long one
Sig Sauer Mosquito (technically the wifes....its purple...and sparkly.)
Custom AR-15 I built
WWII Japanese Arisaka rifle that my Grandfather brought back, the action on this thing is butter.



So, opinions. What's next?

I've been considering the 10/22, seems like one of those guns every gun owner should have. I don't know if I can get the wife on board with an AK but thats a good suggestion.

This isn't hers but its exactly the same. Despite the reviews I haven't had a single issue with it. Been very reliable with about 2k rounds through it.

What about a 30/30? Everyone needs a lever-action 30/30!

I'd get a .22! Go for a 10/22 or a S&W M&P 15-22 and get a red dot. I love my 15-22, but I think it would be fun to build a 10/22 from scratch. Or you could get a Ruger 22/45 if you want a handgun. You can start doing some cheap matches with any of these.

Fair point, she still doesn't know about the AR or the 1911. What's one more!?

I do enjoy my friends 30/30 and I have also been considering a bolt action .308.
