I've got a friend who is selling his Colt Army Special 38. Best I can tell it was manufactured in 1919. He was told that this gun was carried in WW1 but if I'm correct on the mfg date that can't be true.

Anyway...where is the best place to sell a gun like this? It's in great shape, I'd say 90%+.

I've never sold a gun like this and don't know which online sites are best and where to point him. He's not online in any capacity but is willing to do so to sell this.

Any information and direction would be greatly appreciated.

You might try the Colt forum. There is one like your friends on Armslist for $400. There is a man named Melvin that will be set up at the gun show this weekend. The show is at Okc fairgrounds, his tables is right at the front door with yellow covers. All he has is older firearms, he could tell you a fair price.
