Excellent rifle! I absolutely LOVE my AMD65, they are quality AKs, and are just flat out beast! Nice thick receivers, chrome lined barrels, superior carbon steel in the guts (bolt, carrier, pistoln, etc..), they are just quality all the way around. I'm curious to see/hear from you as to what type of fireball that thing throws with that simulated can.

Yea from the looks of the parts i could tell they were well milled good and a section from the original receiver was real thick i used a Nodak and man it was near impossible to drill they are fully heat treated i think . i will try to get a pic next time
