Yeah, i agree, These people really don't learn from movies and TV shows like the rest of us. Probably because they are too busy creating a doomsday virus in the lab. Just because you are smart and make mess with nature doesn't mean you should.

More virulent microbes are created in laboratory settings all the time. How do you guys think researchers come up with ways to treat infection? How do you think science has learned so much about bacteria and viruses in the last 50 years?

+1000. I hear people talk about getting their kids shots. No way!! A lot of people think Lyme disease came from a lab. I wouldn't doubt it at all. I agree you don't just play with mother nature!

Some are saying that this strain of flu was created so that they can "develop immunizations against similar types", should this type of flu began to spread in the future. It seems that maybe those folks are also forgetting that the flu constantly changes. So the vaccination that works for this one now, may not work for the myriad of other strains down the road. When they are guessing at which strains might be the ones that go around (like they attempt to do now) to make the vaccines, how sure are they that they'll beat the dismal record they have now of "lesser" flu strains? Doesn't sound too promising.
