i have a truck for sale on craigslist , got a email wanting me to fill out a loan app. & they would be by to pick up the truck this afternoon,

Why do you need a loan to sell a truck?

They are either fishing for your personal information

or

They want you to let them pay it out in payments and YOU be the loan company.

Before you posted that Ad on Craigslist there is a Warning at the top of the page letting you know that this is going around a lot of Craigslist right now. Most don't notice it and pay attention to it, you have to be careful and pay attention to all the warnings from companies now days. Scams are everywhere!!

scam... CL is full of them.

the key is don't give any personal info, meet locally in front of a busy QT, and only accept cash.

It is a scam, don't reply to any emails, not even the one's just inquiring, they will get your email when you respond then you will start getting spam. Have them email their #.
