They'll ask for the serial number, sometimes your name, the dealers name, the manufacturers name. Have it all handy.
If it hasn't been a month or since they cashed the check or two months since you've sent the forms, don't even bother them. I don't usually call until month 3 after check cashing. Don't like to bother them.

My SBR form 1 was approved Jan 12, over 7 months from the time I mailed it in.
I'll take that bet.
So do I but for some reason I have both of those numbers in my ATF phone book. I dunno.
