I always stay at the same hotel. The drury inn, its a nice place.
Isn't that where the Muffin Man lives?

People like that really cheese me off.
A few years ago there were two older women who would drive their blinged-up maroon Lincoln Navigator to all the main suburban grocery store parking lots and ask people for money, playing with their emotions to get it. I never gave her any money, and I guess she didn't recognize me the second time she approached me, a month after the first... with the same damn story.
"Oh, sir," *pant*pant*pant*, "we's trying to get to Oklahoma City for a funeral and don't have no gas money. Could you help a poor old woman out?"
I saw them about six months after that at Wal-Mart. Boy, she saw me and damn near ran back to that ridiculous SUV. I called the manager when I got back to make sure he knew what they were doing. He did, and had already called the police about it once.
Haven't seen them since...
I do not like people gettin' in my space. Walmart at I/40 & Macarthur is the worst. Somebody is gonna get hurt.
This ... I don't get why these people think that just because I am an old woman I am a sucker ...
Last time I helped anyone was the last time. On a friday mid-afternoon in Stillwater some bum on 6th street asked for a some beer money. I told him I was heading into the bar and was going to get a pitcher so and he could have a glass.
You all are very cold hearted. The next time you are approached by someone in Tulsa, open up your wallets and give BIG. That's one of my side businesses and I need a new Mercedes.
They want to get in your "personal space" and intimidate you into giving them cash. I've learned to do the following before they get into my space - hold my hand palm out and towards them (stop sign) and say in a loud command voice, "I can't help you sir!"
If they keep coming... "Keep your distance, sir!" The "sir" is in case there are witnesses and you do end up being attacked by one of these loons. It makes it clear to any witness that you are not being rude or argumentative or in any way provoking the beggar.
It's not just a matter of being harassed, who's to say that they might not pull a knife once they are in close?
